The Role

We're excited to announce an opportunity to join our team at With Intelligence as Private Markets - Data Strategy Lead. As the Data Strategy Lead, you will be at the forefront of supporting our data-driven strategy, driving innovation, depth and quality to shape our products and customer offerings across alternative and private markets.

In this role, you will own and execute the product data strategy, identifying and prioritising data sets and focus areas that drive growth and differentiation. This is a market and client focused role where you will work closely with Product Strategy to develop and deepen our data offering, you will evaluate and prioritise data sets to deliver best in class data. You will be responsible for collaborating and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure data is at the centre of our strategy, and that our operations teams are delivering on the data strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive data strategy to help drive product improvements and innovation, focused on differentiation and depth
  • Working closely with Product Strategy and Product Owners to ensure data requirements are captured and align with our product data strategy (workshops, PRDs, and documentation in JIRA via epics)
  • Define data coverage, quality and timeliness KPIs for data sets, in collaboration with Data Operations
  • Working with Data Operations to prioritise and support incoming data initiatives and ensure alignment with product strategy roadmap and prioritisation
  • Identify and evaluate new data sources and technologies to enhance data offering, including new data sets and coverage areas
  • Being the inspiration between Data, Product and Technology to ensure all streams are collaborating and coordinating towards consistent end goals
  • Working with data science to uncover new data points and/or data insights
  • Responsible for our data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Stakeholder management with the business / senior stakeholders being the champion for product data
  • The role will initially be a hands-on contributor role, however there is scope to build and guide a small team of product data experts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning


Requirements

  • Subject matter expert in the alternative assets space, including private markets
  • Prior experience in a senior role within data or product management
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, commercial awareness and focus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of data analytics techniques and tools
  • Experience in database querying and modelling is desirable
