Fantastic opportunity to join a leading Pharmaceutical company and work with cutting edge technologies to develop the next generation of antibody therapeutics!

In this laboratory-based position, you will devise, plan and apply novel strategies for antibody discovery and optimisation. You will be responsible for leading projects to deliver antibodies that target a range of therapeutic areas, collaborating across internal teams including CADD (computer aided drug design), data sciences and other drug development teams. In addition to this, you will integrate novel computational strategies (inc. NGS and deep sequencing analysis) within the company that assist with the development of unique antibodies.

Candidate profile:

  • PhD with several years of industry experience of developing novel antibodies

  • Strong understanding of antibody discovery techniques; ideally immunisation dependent B cell generation

  • Knowledge of NGS analysis and manipulation

  • Supervisory or mentorship experience of junior colleagues

  • Motivated and driven, with excellent communication skills
