Principal Machine Learning Engineer - Hybrid/Remote options available

Salary - up to £100,000


I am looking for a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join one of my new clients who operate in iGaming and Betting. This role would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who is interested in building/leading a team in the future, but wants to remain hands on and have more influence on mapping out the overarching strategy for ML developments within a scaleup environment.


What you’ll do:

  • Architect and build scalable ML systems in GCP and AWS
  • Drive end-to-end delivery across experimentation, modelling, MLOps and deployment
  • Set technical direction, mentor teams, and champion best practices
  • Work closely with product and data teams to turn ideas into real-world impact
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to understand drivers for growth and how ML can support achieving this


What you bring:

  • Deep experience in cloud-based ML (GCP/AWS)
  • Confident working on end to end projects, with knowledge of deploying GLM's in particular
  • A track record of shipping robust, high-scale ML systems
  • Strong ownership, strategic thinking, and a passion for solving problems with bespoke solutions using ML and Data Science
  • Knowledge or interest in AI
