About the Role:

They are seeking an experiencedPrincipal Machine Learning Architectto lead the design and implementation of advanced machine learning systems. In this pivotal role, you’ll shape the company’s ML strategy, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and optimized for peak performance.

  • Work with diverse teams to design complex solutions and integrate various software systems to tackle high-level technical challenges.
  • Serve as a technical expert in domains such as advanced analytics and regulatory technology, providing leadership, guidance, and strategic advice to both internal teams and external partners.
  • Assess different solutions, weighing their trade-offs, and recommend the most effective approach.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and deliver features in a fast-paced environment, focusing on quality, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Simplify complex technical challenges into clear and manageable components.
  • Provide guidance on product design and influence senior engineers and product leaders on critical decisions.
  • Identify and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security or scalability concerns.
  • Take an active role in troubleshooting and resolving production incidents, following established incident management processes.
  • Detect patterns in recurring issues and implement proactive solutions to address root causes.
  • Manage task workflows using project management tools.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, giving and receiving feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Support the establishment and continuous refinement of best practices.
  • Mentor and coach colleagues to help them grow professionally.
  • Contribute meaningfully in agile ceremonies, providing insights and suggestions for improvement.


What you'll need:

  • Proficiency with JVM language (Java/Kotlin) and experience in Python
  • Experience in NLP, ML-Ops and data pipelines
  • Experience with ML frameworks/libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn
  • Strong understanding of ML Algorithms, Statistical techniques, and data analysis methodologies
  • Experience with Data processing, feature engineering and model evaluation techniques.
  • Experience in cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services & Google Cloud
  • Experience in microservices & event-driven architecture.
  • Exposure and experience in building ML applications/services with cloud scalability
  • Experience in Kafka and RDBMS such as MySQL & Postgres
  • Proficient in containerized platforms like Docker, Helm & Kubernetes
  • Experience in CI/CD tools like Bamboo, Argo CD
  • Experience in Prometheus & Grafana
  • Proficient in API design
  • Proficient in working with distributed systems
