Full-time: 35 hours per week


Fixed-term: 12 months

The Opportunity:


We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Health Data Science to join our team in the Institute of Genetics and Cancer. In this role, you will develop and apply cutting-edge data science methodologies to complex biomedical data, focusing on patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). You will work closely with our clinical and translational teams to develop predictive tools that can be implemented directly in clinical settings. This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. 


This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.

Your skills and attributes for success:

A PhD in statistics, machine learning, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.  Proficiency in R programming.  Experience in managing and analysing research data.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
