StealthMode StartUp Client is seeking aPlatform Architect (or Enterprise Architect)to design and oversee theendtoend architectureof ascalable secure and highperformance web and mobile platform. This role will focus on establishing arobust technical foundationaligningengineering efforts with strategic objectivesand ensuringsystem reliability and future scalability.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience insystem architecture design cloud infrastructure microservicesand a deep understanding ofemerging technologiesto build a platform capable of serving millions of users globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and define theoverall technical architecturefor the platform ensuring alignment withbusiness goalsandscalability requirements.
  • Establish and enforcebest practices for platform architectureincluding frameworks design patterns and scalability strategies.
  • Develop and own thetechnical roadmapaligning platform capabilities with longterm objectives.
  • Lead architectural discussions design reviews andtechnical decisionmaking processesacross teams.
  • Providetechnical mentorshipto engineering teams guiding them in the implementation of architectural decisions.
  • Identifytechnology gapsand propose innovative solutions to address them.
  • Ensure the platform architecture is capable of scaling horizontally and vertically to meetanticipated user growth.
  • Design systems forhigh availability reliabilityandfault tolerance.
  • Optimize system performance reduce latency and improve response times across services.
  • Define and oversee theAPI architectureand integration strategy to ensure seamless communication between components and thirdparty services.
  • Build robustdata flow architecturesto facilitate efficient data exchange between services.
  • Design and implementsecurity protocolsto safeguard data user privacy and platform integrity.
  • Ensure platform compliance withinternational regulations(e.g. GDPR CCPA).
  • Collaborate withProduct Engineering Data ScienceandCompliance teamsto translate business requirements into architectural blueprints.
  • Serve as abridge between business stakeholders and technical teamsto ensure alignment on technical priorities.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommendnew technologies toolsandframeworksto improve platform capabilities.
  • Stay informed aboutemerging industry trendsand integrate them into platform strategies where appropriate.
  • Create and maintaindetailed architectural documentationensuring clarity for engineering teams.
  • Define and enforcetechnical standards and governance processesacross the engineering organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum8 yearsof experience insoftware architecture enterprise architectureor a related leadership role.
  • Excellent command of the English Language in all forms.
  • Previous startup experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong experience withcloud platforms(e.g. AWS GCP Azure).
  • Proficiency in designingscalable microservices architecturesand distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in languages such asPython Java GoorNode.js.
  • Expertise in designing and implementingRESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.
  • Deep understanding ofSQL and NoSQL databases(e.g. PostgreSQL MongoDB).
  • Knowledge ofsecurity protocols encryption standardsandaccess control mechanisms.
  • Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines Docker Kubernetesand cloud deployment strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical andproblemsolving skills.
  • Strong leadership andteam management abilities.
  • Ability to create clear andcomprehensive architectural documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability totranslate technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits
