Payments Architect

Job Description:

• We are in search of a seasoned Solution Architect with a deep focus on payments technology to become an integral part of our team. The individual will be tasked with architecting and implementing innovative payment solutions that are fully aligned with our enterprise-wide architecture framework. This position requires close collaboration with key business stakeholders, project managers, and architectural peers to ensure that the developed solutions are secure, scalable, and effectively address both business needs and stakeholder goals.

  Work Location: Bromley, UK (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
  Summary of role responsibilities:
  
• Developing High-Level Design.
  
• Supporting the delivery teams throughout the agile project lifecycle.
  
• Performing initial engagement with the business to determine concept designs, and project estimates, and provide technology guidance.
  
• Determining the impact of projects developed by other technology teams on the EMEA Treasury environment (technology, people, process).
  
• Reviewing project designs for adherence to the organisation's design standards and technology stack.
  
• Set the technology strategy (technology and design standards) for the department.
  
• Working closely with the enterprise architecture team to build out the treasury platform.
  
• Support the build-out of the Global Banking and Markets Technology strategy through the development of blueprints in the treasury space.
  
• Ensuring timely quality deliverables.
  
• Regular status reporting to Senior Management in technology and the business.
  Experience in Corporate Banking with the following products would be ideal:
  
• Payments, including SWIFT, ACH, CHAPS, Faster Payments, SEPA, TARGET2, ISO, Real-Time Payments.
  
• Demand Deposit Accounting.
  
• Treasury and Cash Management Systems.
  
• Banking Regulations – OFAC, FTR, PSD2, AML.
  
• Trade Finance and Loans.
