The role

We are seeking an analytical, ambitious, and motivated individual to join our Partnerships & Strategy team. In this fast-paced role, you will help scope and execute strategic initiatives across the UK and EU. You'll build strong relationships with key external partners and collaborate across departments, playing a pivotal role in driving the company's success.

What you will do

  • Support high-impact projects and evaluate strategic opportunities for Plum’s growth.
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships & Strategy Lead to deliver major initiatives, including potential new asset classes and international expansion.
  • Provide project leadership, remove blockers, and assist product teams with ad-hoc analysis and problem-solving.
  • Explore new market opportunities to ensure Plum remains well-positioned to support future user needs.
  • Analyse large datasets, extract actionable insights, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Work cross-functionally to define, build, and implement scalable processes.
  • Manage existing vendor relationships and evaluate new partners.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base by documenting key insights and learnings.

Requirements

What We Look For

  • Have 1-2+ years of experience working in investment banking, consulting, professional services, or a similar role at a fintech
  • Experience in financial markets or investments is a plus
  • Are curious and have the attitude to figure things out and are able to get stuff done by working with multiple teams
  • Are comfortable with analysing data and delving into the details of complex problems
  • Able to break down diverse and complex problems and use a data-oriented approach to propose solutions.
  • Are proactive and like to take responsibility
  • Are analytical and excited about working with a business that moves fast
  • Have unparalleled attention to detail and strong administrative abilities
  • Are fluent in English and knowledge of any other European language is a plus
