Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with the Havering Integrated Children's Services Occupational Therapy Team. Occupational Therapy provision is provided over a variety of settings clinic, home, nurseries and schools to children with a variety of complex you are passionate about working with Children and have an interest in empowering children and families, we look forward to hearing from are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.Havering Integrated Children's Services is comprised of Paediatrician, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy and CAMHS. We have a strong focus on integrated working across health, education and social proximity to local train station and office base is on local bus route for ease of travel.
Main duties of the job
Develop and implement an individualised intervention programme in conjunction with the child and family/carers referred to the be responsible for organising and prioritising own workload. Provide high quality Occupational Therapy clinical expertise and service. Responsible for the development and implementation of high standards of clinical care ensuring the service provided is needs led, compliant with national guidance and is viewed positively by service users. Responsible for undertaking comprehensive clinical assessments of service users. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate Occupational Therapy treatments for specialist case load, in a variety of settings, as an autonomous practitioner. Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,551 to a maximum of £5,735 pro rata for part time).
