Job summary
To support the Outpatient Service Manager in the operational delivery and clinical governance of the administration side of the Outpatient Services. The role includes leading transformational change within one of our specialised areas of the Outpatient Department which includes Health Records, Access to Records (legal requests), Reception and the Patient Service Centre. To assist in the patients' journey within the Outpatient Service from booking the appointment, to retrieving the health care record for the appointment and booking them in at reception for the appointment, whilst listening to patient and staff feedback to deliver an excellent outpatient experience.
Main duties of the job
To support the Outpatient Service Manager for the Service in their charge with an overview of the day to day and future planning for service improvements and transformational change. As well as being responsible for the management, development and empowerment of the teams within the service.
