Job Description:
Do you have a pulse on the latest trends and an eye for what works in the ever-evolving world of organic social media? Our partner is on the hunt for a social media manager with a knack for crafting killer content to join their Organic Media team and work across our current and growing client base.
With at least two years of experience managing social media accounts, you'll bring a wealth of knowledge on best practices across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Snapchat. Your strategic mindset, combined with your love for memes and trend-spotting, will be key in growing our clients’ channels with truly engaging content. You'll back this up with data from reporting and social listening tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation:Develop compelling and relevant content for our social media channels.
- Community Management:Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a vibrant online community.
- Strategy Development:Plan and execute organic social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Trend Spotting:Identify and leverage trends, memes, and viral content to keep our clients’ social media presence fresh and engaging.
- Analytics and Reporting:Monitor and analyse social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Client Management:Work closely with clients to steer their social media outputs in the right direction.
Experience and Skills Sought:
- Minimum two years’ experience managing social media accounts in an agency or in-house role.
- Proficient knowledge of popular social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat).
- Experience developing and executing social media strategies.
- Ability to grow social channels in line with strategic goals.
- Experience using reporting, scheduling, and management tools.
- Knowledge of social listening tools.
- Ability to brief and provide feedback on creative content.
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
Key Proficiencies Required:
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint (or similar)
- Good math and English foundation
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of tools like Canva, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Meta Business & Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Sheets
Desirable (but not necessary) Proficiencies:
- Presentation experience.
- Experience with both B2C and B2B markets.
- Understanding and experience of boosting organic posts with media spend.
- Experience with new business pitches.
- Experience managing channels in global markets (ideally EMEA).
