Join BAE Systems asan experienced Machine Learning (ML) Engineer. In our AI team, youwill collaborate with National Security Customers to identify howAI/ML solutions can add value. You will lead prototype development,designing, implementing, and deploying AI solutions. This rolerequires a solid foundation in software engineering, statistics,and AI/ML concepts, along with awareness of the latest advancementsin the field. You will be part of a multidisciplinary AI teamfocused on developing AI propositions that benefit our customers,working alongside Data Scientists, AI Strategy Leads, and DeliveryManagers. Your responsibilities include understanding user needs,establishing our market position, developing skills and careerpaths in AI, building our AI partner ecosystem, and fosteringinnovation through AI experiments. About you Youwill have experience in: - Prototyping applications with ML modelsto test feasibility and impact. - Engineering and deployingML-based solutions end-to-end. - Operationalizing models to meetuser needs. - Integrating models into applications and systems. -Monitoring and optimizing model performance. - Exploring latestML/AI advancements. - Ensuring compliance with AI ethics andpolicies. - Providing technical guidance on ML implementation. -Programming in Python, Java, .Net, JavaScript, or C++. - UsingMLOps tools and frameworks. - Version control with Git, Mercurial,or Perforce. - Containerization with Docker, Kubernetes. Preferredexperience includes refining models with data scientists, definingMLOps strategies, ensuring data quality, conducting data analysis,maintaining documentation, working with cloud ML services (AWS,Azure), integrating various database systems, and utilizing CI/CDtools.
