THE ROLE As the Data Scientist for the business, you will: Work independently to create an LLM model for text generation Build machine learning models using Python Liaise with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements and explain how Data Science can add value to the business SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Strong academic background to Degree level in a numerical subject Commercial experience in Data Science creating LLMs is a must Experience with advanced retrieval models such as SPLADE, ColBERT, and other transformer-based architectures for search and ranking. Strong background in NLP techniques, including text preprocessing, tokenization, named entity recognition, and multimodal learning approaches.
