Job Overview:

You will leverage AI and machine learning techniques to solve complex biological challenges, such as drug discovery, protein engineering, and precision medicine. You will collaborate closely with biologists, data scientists, and engineers to design models and pipelines that analyse vast biological datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and apply AI and machine learning models to analyse large-scale biological datasets (e.g., genomics, proteomics, and clinical data).
• Design and implement predictive models for drug discovery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biologists and data engineers, to integrate AI tools into biotech research workflows.
• Use techniques such as deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and reinforcement learning to tackle problems in protein structure prediction, gene expression, and drug-target interactions.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and biotechnology, and apply cutting-edge methods to ongoing projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in applying AI and machine learning techniques in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences context.
• Solid understanding of biological data types, including genomics, proteomics, and clinical datasets.
• Familiarity with deep learning, NLP, or reinforcement learning applied to biological problems.
