They will work with the project Systems Engineer to ensure alignment of the design to the end user requirement specifications, and will support all phases of the product including assembly, test, integration and reporting. As Analysist they will have a predominant role in designing the test setup and specifications for vibration testing, shock testing and TVAC testing with external facilities, as well as processing the measurements and feeding the outcomes back into the design of the subsystems.

The mechanical engineer will be working together with other disciplines like propulsion engineers, electrical engineers, etc. and coordinating with project managers to ensure the successful technical outcome.

We are looking for a versatile engineer who understand how to approach engineering problems, and who can deliver solutions using first principles and excellent organization skills combined with strong technical competencies. • Experience in mechanical design of components and subsystems for space applications, including manufacturing and assembly, material selection, etc.,
  • Experience in structural analysis (pressure, vibration, quasi-static, shock) and modelling of components and subsystems,
  • Producing manufacturing drawings for suppliers and manufacturing/assembly instructions for in-house assembly.
  • Understanding of the manufacturing processes,
  • Understanding of thermal fundamental principles and ability in modelling thermal systems,
