Marketing Data Analyst

Location: London Victoria (hybrid model, minimum 3 days in office).

Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a Data Analyst (Marketing) to join Nord Anglia Education, in the IT team, to be based in the London Victoria HQ.

We are looking for someone who has a blend of an analytical mindset, yet is happy spending considerable time in data, and can creatively solve problems as well as presenting data to generalist audiences in a compelling story.

This role will be responsible for collecting, organising and analysing information and you will be working across multiple data sets across finance, marketing and sales to produce ad-hoc reports and insights for internal and external audiences which will require high attention to detail.

We are seeking ideally a candidate who has experience in a PE environment when handling data back and forth between external parties.

The role:

We seek an individual to join as a Marketing Data Analyst where:

  • You’ll understand the global MAC calendar and prioritise your work to ensure that you’re driving the greatest business value.
  • You’ll input into the wider MAC data strategy and plan.
  • You'll apply a senior lens to the accuracy of the data that we are producing and maintain high levels of discipline around QA.
  • You'll work with data experts across the organization to ensure that MAC data is best structured - supporting and working with our Central Data Analytics team to ensure we deploy best practice modelling and processes and support the deployment and operationalisation of new reports.
  • You’ll use data and insights to ensure that MAC tactics are helping to drive enrolment performance across the school.
  • You'll reflect a ‘first class, every time’ focus on delivery and leadership of often complex projects.
  • You'll build strong relationships across the organisation.

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis / Business Analysis / Data Management / Insights.
  • Exceptional Excel and reporting skills with high attention to detail and presentation.
  • Proficient experience with SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI, Alteryx, Databricks, Supermetrics).
  • High level of experience in data analysis techniques and advanced Excel with large data sets.
  • Experience with / understanding of data science and statistical methodologies.
  • Experience in process improvement and implementation.
  • Experience working within a marketing/business intelligence environment.
  • Experience in measuring and analyzing online marketing campaigns across all digital channels.
  • Experience of hands-on attribution modeling and building forecast models.
  • Strong ability to work across multiple projects.
  • You’ll be a strong communicator and able to translate data and explain key insights to stakeholders.
