You will be writing compelling and engaging content across digital channels, including webpages, email nurtures, social, paid ads, blogs, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing strategies and be able to create content that drives lead generation and supports overall marketing objectives.

What you will be doing

Write clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for a variety of marketing channels: including the website, blogs, emails, social, and paid ads Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content ideas that support campaign goals Create and edit written content, ensuring consistency. Edit and proofread content to ensure high-quality output Optimize content for SEO and ensure all digital content is aligned with current SEO strategies Develop and maintain content calendars in collaboration with the marketing team Analyze content performance metrics and optimize content with data-driven insights Research industry trends and stay up-to-date with content marketing best practices to keep content relevant and compelling

What we are looking for

Proven experience as a copywriter, content creator, or similar role in marketing Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills  Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, email marketing, social, and paid ads Experience with content management systems (preferably ) and familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Excellent communicator Creative thinker with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, concise, and engaging content Strong time and project-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

We value in-person collaboration here at Matillion, therefore this role follows our hybrid work structure where Matillioners work 2 days a week in ourManchester office. Our core day is Wednesday, and the second day will be determined together. The rest of the week you are welcome to work from the office, or remotely if you’d prefer.CompensationAt Matillion, we are committed to providing compensation in line with market standards based on the role, job family, job level and country. This role’s estimated annual salaried pay range for this position is £35,680 - £53,520.
