Job Title: Manufacturing Test EngineerWere looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to support the testing and diagnostics of cutting-edge electrical/electronic systems in a fast-paced, dynamic team.Salary: Circa £45,000 dependent on experienceLocation: BoltonDynamic (hybrid) working: 4-5 days per week on-site due to workload classificationSecurity Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).What we offer:Competitive salary up to £45,000 (depending on experience)Hybrid working (4-5 days on-site)Performance-based bonus up to £2,50014% pension contribution + paid overtimeUp to 15 flexi leave days and enhanced parental leaveSubsidised meals, free parking, and more!The role:Providing Test Engineering support during Design / Development phases from initial concept through to Production Readiness Review and release to Operations.Supporting Test Facility introduction and ensuring that appropriate configuration control of equipment and facilities is in place prior to use, including generating supporting test specifications and operator instructions.Supporting testing of electrical/electronic sub-assemblies and circuit cards, with diagnosis of production test failures down to component level.Working closely with Operations, the design teams and other stakeholders to overcome any technical challenges.Always aiming to deliver in line with all programme and quality requirements, whilst maintaining Test Engineering functional governance and pursuing continuous improvement.What we need from you:HNC (or equivalent) in electronics, with digital/analog test experienceProficiency in fault diagnosis and test equipmentExperience with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP)A problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detailTPBN1_UKTJ
