Job Description

Are you passionate about helping transport organisations design, develop and deploy sophisticated and innovative solutions? We help our clients protect themselves and critical infrastructures from cyber incidents and ensure safe and resilient transportation.

The transport sector is rapidly changing with a dramatic increase in interconnectivity and the use of smart technologies to manage and operate our infrastructures. Whilst this has many benefits it increases the susceptibility of transport systems to cyber attack. All this is happening at a time when both our national infrastructures are facing an ever increasing threat.

We bring a rich mix of insight and expertise to our clients’ challenges by combining our knowledge and experience across transport, utilities and wider critical national infrastructures. Our priority is to build lasting partnerships with our clients.

Every organisation wants to improve the way it works and make best use of new technology.  Today that means use of digitisation, automation, and artificial intelligence to harness efficiencies and new routes to users.  All of this needs to be done in a way that ensures cyber resilience of our critical infrastructures and protects individuals’ data. As we grow our Cyber Transformation capability, we are looking for dynamic and compelling individuals who can help clients understand the potential benefits of trusted digitisation enabled by digital trust and good cyber security.

Qualifications

Our Digital Trust and Cyber Security (DT&CS) Transport Cyber Resilience specialists understand how to help transport sector clients develop and put into action a digital trust and cyber security strategy that enables them to build the organisation they need for the future, and make sure that it is secure by design.

As a Managing Consultant, you will be part of our leadership team, taking new service propositions to the market as well as developing new business and strong client relationships while leading and delivering great work.

Essential skills

  • Ability to work with transport and logistics clients, helping them to structure their thinking in order to identify key requirements, challenges, opportunities and aspirations for the organisation
  • Strong experience and relationships in the transport sector
  • Taking accountability for the delivery of technical cyber security engagements and leading multiple engagements on a day-to-day basis
  • Leading sales and business development initiatives in the transport sector and acting as an integral part of the broader Digital Trust and Cyber Security leadership team
  • Building and managing excellent networks and client relationships (typically at CIO, CFO, COO, CISO or Head of Technology level) across a range of organisations within the transport sector
  • Commercially aware and with industry relationships that will enable achievement of revenue in the region of £1.5+ million per year
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels up to Board level and strong network across transport sector leaders
  • Trusted and respected leader with the ability to build and run a highly effective team that delivers client outcomes and develops the team and individuals
  • Experience and knowledge of the regulatory environment facing clients; with a particular focus on cyber security and privacy relevant regulations
  • Qualification such as CISSP, CISM, and GISCP, ISA 62443 (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience of selling and leading cyber resilience and transformation projects
  • Experience of the application of key cyber security standards and best practices such as ISO 27001, IEC 62443, NIS regulations and NIS CAF.

Contract vs Permanent AI Jobs: Which Pays Better in 2025?

n the ever-evolving world of technology, the competition for top talent in artificial intelligence (AI) is intense—and the rewards are significant. By 2025, AI roles in machine learning, natural language processing, data science, and robotics are expected to be among the highest-paid professions within the UK technology sector. As an AI professional, deciding between contracting (either as a day‑rate contractor or via fixed-term contracts) and permanent employment could drastically impact your take‑home pay, job security, and career trajectory. In this article, we will delve into the various types of AI roles in 2025—particularly focusing on day‑rate contracting, fixed-term contract (FTC) roles, and permanent positions. We will compare the earning potential across these three employment types, discuss the key pros and cons, and provide practical examples of how your annual take‑home pay might differ under each scenario. Whether you are already working in AI or looking to break into this booming field, understanding these employment options will help you make an informed decision on your next move.

AI Jobs for Non‑Technical Professionals: Where Do You Fit In?

Your Seat at the AI Table Artificial Intelligence (AI) has left the lab and entered boardrooms, high‑street banks, hospitals and marketing agencies across the United Kingdom. Yet a stubborn myth lingers: “AI careers are only for coders and PhDs.” If you can’t write TensorFlow, surely you have no place in the conversation—right? Wrong. According to PwC’s UK AI Jobs Barometer 2024, vacancies mentioning AI rose 61 % year‑on‑year, but only 35 % of those adverts required advanced programming skills (pwc.co.uk). The Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) likewise reports that Britain’s fastest‑growing AI employers are “actively recruiting non‑technical talent to scale responsibly” (gov.uk). Put simply, the nation needs communicators, strategists, ethicists, marketers and project leaders every bit as urgently as it needs machine‑learning engineers. This 2,500‑word guide shows where you fit in—and how to land an AI role without touching a line of Python.

The London‑ and New York‑based start‑up’s text‑to‑speech, dubbing and voice‑cloning APIs now serve publishers, film studios, ed‑tech giants and accessibility apps across 45 languages. After an $80 m Series B round in January 2024—which pushed valuation above $1 bn—ElevenLabs is scaling fast, doubling revenue every quarter and hiring aggressively. If you’re an ML engineer who dreams in spectrograms, an audio‑DSP wizard or a product storyteller who can translate jargon into creative workflows, this guide explains how to land an ElevenLabs AI job in 2025.
