Today, we are looking for an outstanding ML Engineer /Data Scientist to join us on this fast-moving and exciting journey.Key responsibilities: - Design and develop cutting edge ML modelsfor sports prediction. Improve the existing ensemble models forbetter predictability. - Bring the frontier of ML/AI research intosports by building self-learning and real-time predictive modelsfor U.S. sports at a player-level resolution. - Optimise and bundlethe ML models to serve thousands of predictions an hour. Currentlyour models run at blazing speeds on a Rust runtime through Onnxconversion. - Partnering with the product team to turn ideas intofully functional modules of the consumer product. - Contribute tostrategic decisions around the future product direction ofGameScript (more powerful AI algorithms, valuable integrations andtools for sports fans). - Rapid testing and gathering of customerfeedback and analytics to drive decision-making. Desirableexperience: - 5+ years in data/software engineering (flexible ifskills align). - Proficiency with Python. - Some experience withstrongly-typed languages. - Proficiency with SQL-like databases anddata pipelines. - Proficient understanding of dataframes, and MLframeworks including Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras. -Previous experience with sports prediction, or interest in U.S.sports is desirable. - Some experience with Polars is desirable,though not necessary. - Some experience with Onnx is desirable,though not necessary. - Ability to work independently and inambiguous settings, delivering solutions end-to-end.
