The role of the Legal & Compliance Advisor is to provide first class customer service to our contract and temporary workers. This is a varied role where you will be responsible for reviewing T&Cs, carrying out compliance checks, produce contracts, issue terminations, and also keep in regular contact with our workers throughout their assignments with us.


Responsibilities:

  • Support consultants in placing contractors internationally, advise whether a certain engagement model is possible in the country in question.
  • Review and amend client terms to mitigate risk and present solutions, whilst providing accurate information to employees and contractors
  • Support legal and compliance manager with dispute resolution between clients and candidates
  • Collating, onboarding and monitoring contractors onboarding documents on all systems and portals
  • Advise on with IR35 determinations and answer questions from contractors and internally on
  • IR35.
  • Chasing any missing compliance information from contractors
  • Firstline support for all contractors, worker queries and timesheet queries
  • Liaise closely with the payments and finance team to ensure all contractor and client queries are managed
  • Assist with on-boarding clients, including completing vendor and supplier forms
  • Firstline support for all contractors, worker queries and timesheet queries
  • Identify and maintain relationships with all payroll providers
  • Producing of contracts for clients and contractors; involves issuing, re-issuing and renewing contracts
  • Sending Terminations and Offboarding contractors
  • Liaising with consultants and reporting on worker compliance/ assignment end dates and any other compliance steps
  • Monitor and prioritise tasks within the compliance inbox
  • Assist with on-boarding clients, including completing vendor and supplier forms
  • Manage e-signature process and filing of contracts.
  • Assist with any additional administrative tasks or projects as needed.


Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience in recruitment compliance (UK/EU) preferred
  • Prior knowledge of T&Cs review
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with experience of both internal and external stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
  • Professional German language preferred but not essential
  • Employment law/ legal background preferred
