Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Permanent
Salary: £90,000 to £110,000 plus great benefits
Location: Belfast - Couple of times a week onsite
iO Associates have partnered with a Start-Up based out of Belfast who are looking to grow a whole new development team.
They are creating a cutting-edge Health and Wellbeing app after gaining millions in funding. It is going to disrupt the market and be a real game changer. They are working in partnership with the NHS and incredible experts across mental health, performance, well-being, nutrition, and much more to provide an educational tool that allows the user to become more self-aware and learn new habits.
Your role as Lead Developer will see you leading the development and deployment of ML models and systems, contribute to engineering best practices, and help to oversee the team.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the development of a brand-new platform that is going to make a huge impact in the mental health space.
They are looking for you to have experience in the following:
Experience in a similar role, with a proven record of success in developing and deploying machine learning models.
Strong skills in Python and Pandas, with experience in converting and optimising CPU-based models and algorithms to run efficiently on GPUs.
Familiarity with Spark and/or PySpark for handling large-scale data processing tasks.
Deep understanding of machine learning techniques and approaches, ensuring best practices in model development.
You will be based out of the new head office in Belfast on a hybrid basis.
