Lead Analyst – Web/App Analytics

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of web and app analytics, shaping strategy and driving data-driven decisions in collaboration with senior leaders and analytics specialists.
About the role:
As a Lead Analyst, you’ll lead web and app analytics projects, turning data into actionable insights and driving innovation. Working with a skilled team of analytics and data science professionals, you’ll embrace complex challenges and contribute to decision-making across multiple business areas, including Marketing, Product, and UX.
You’ll leverage tools such as Google Analytics, SQL (BigQuery, Databricks), Looker Studio, and Tableau to deliver impactful results that enhance business performance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborating with teams to plan and execute A/B tests, defining hypotheses and variations.
- Creating and prioritising analytics backlogs and shaping roadmaps to drive analytics maturity.
- Managing tagging processes and implementations using Google Tag Manager.
- Partnering with product teams to encourage data-driven decision-making.
- Identifying commercial opportunities and recommending enhancements to customer experience and profitability.
- Collaborating with data scientists to interpret models and develop actionable insights.
- Designing and delivering dashboards and bespoke analysis to support storytelling and decision-making.
- Presenting findings and influencing stakeholders across various departments.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in web and/or app analytics, with knowledge of marketing channels like PPC, Display, SEO, or Email.
- Expertise in A/B and multivariate testing, including hypothesis development and testing (Optimizely preferred).
- Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques.
- Proficiency with GA4, Google Tag Manager, SQL (BigQuery or Databricks), and visualisation tools like Tableau or Looker Studio.
- A working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is a bonus.
- Proven ability to lead analytical projects, shape roadmaps, and deliver strategic insights.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, passionate about driving differentiation and success.
