La Fosse is proud to partner with a rapidly growing international company operating in the retail and service sectors. The organisation is undergoing a digital transformation and is seeking aLead Data Scientistto drive innovation and unlock the value of their data.

As a Lead Data Scientist, you’ll work with diverse datasets, develop machine learning models, and deliver actionable insights to optimise business performance and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building hypotheses and validating their business impact.
• Developing machine learning models and optimisation pipelines.
• Leverage advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to build accurate forecasting models, enabling data-driven decision-making and optimising business operations.
• Develop and refine dynamic pricing models to maximise revenue and profitability, incorporating market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive analysis.
• Translating technical data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Designing interactive dashboards using Power BI to visualise real-time insights.
• Collaborating with the Data Engineering team to create scalable data solutions.

Core Technical Skills:

• 3+ yearsof experience indata science/advanced analytics or machine learningrole.
• Strong programming skills inPython; familiarity withAzureandPower BIis essential.
• Experience inregression analysis, classification, clustering, and feature engineering.
• Proven ability to deliverhigh-impact insightsand present to senior stakeholders.
• Experience building accurate forecasting models, enabling data-driven decision-making and optimising business operations.
• Experience building dynamic pricing models to maximise revenue and profitability, incorporating market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive analysis.
