As an AI Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a crucial role in managing a company's data infrastructure. You will work with both structured and unstructured data and ensure its availability, quality and security.

Your tasks

• With your expertise as an AI Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will be our driving force in our growing team and manage the data infrastructure, focusing on designing, building and maintaining data pipelines, including data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) of data.
• With your sense for new technologies and trends, you design and improve our databases (SQL, NoSQL, Indey and Vector DB) and thus ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Do you always keep an eye on everything? In your role, you monitor our data pipelines so that large volumes of data can be processed and scaled as required.
• Do you want to actively support your team? With us, you will manage data quality and develop mechanisms for data validation, cleansing and error handling. You will use cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage and processing.
• Do you enjoy communication and cross-team collaboration? In order to understand data requirements, you are in close contact with data scientists, analysts and business stakeholders (m/f/d).

What you bring with you

• Degree: Degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, data science or a comparable technical degree
• First professional experience in advanced AI data analytics and cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of real-time dataflows
• Basic knowledge of agile software development approaches (Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience with AWS and machine learning desirable
• Very good knowledge of German and English, further foreign language skills advantageous
• Work permit / work authorization for Germany
• Technical understanding, an agile way of thinking and working, with communication and presentation skills and a willingness to learn and improve
