Job Description

As an IT Business Data Scientist, you will extract, analyze and interpret large amounts of data from a range of sources, using algorithmic, data mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning and statistical tools, to make it accessible to businesses.

You will report to the Global Head of IT.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Represent the business from IT perspective in requirement preparation and validation for any Reporting and Data topics.
  • Ensure compliance of Reporting tool design with business vision, processes, and operations.
  • Lead the Data and Reporting Stream for Business Assurance for internal use and customers.
  • Develop Reports and Dashboards in collaboration with the Global Head of IT & the BA Operations Team.
  • Validate that solutions meet business drivers.
  • Work with the corporate SGS Data Team to communicate and clarify requirements.
  • Support the development and creation of BA’s Reporting System (PowerBI), including all interfaces.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Scope Definition:Act as the main contact between business and IT, creating detailed User Stories to translate operational reporting needs into IT requirements.
  • Process and Operations:Build and validate requirements with stakeholders, participate in design workshops, and ensure traceability from definition to testing.
  • Design:Participate in design workshops, provide configuration input, liaise with business representatives, and ensure development compliance with end-user needs.
  • Testing:Test Reporting Solutions based on the requirements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the global Applications of Business Assurance (CertIQ)
  • Experience in leading IT process areas and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong background in requirement gathering, validation, and ensuring compliance with business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI and other reporting tools (must have)
  • Strong understanding of business processes and operations, paired with a good understanding for Data management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, whilst thinking out-of-the-box
  • Proficiency in creating detailed User Stories and translating business requirements into IT requirements.

  • Fluent in English.
