We offer acompetitive salary, an annual bonus based on company performance,healthcare and wellbeing programmes, pension plan membership, andshares and savings programme.Discover more about our company widebenefits and life at GSK on our webpage Life at GSK | GSK Pleasenote this position is lab based.We are looking for a highlymotivated scientist with experience in microfluidics, fluorescenceand label-free microscopy, applied to organoid cultures andoncology cellular biology to join the Oncology TranslationalResearch team within GSK Oncology TA.The Oncology TranslationalResearch team will partner with other Oncology TA team members toincrease clinical translatability and to contribute to preclinicaldevelopment programs within GSK Oncology TA.The successfulcandidate will work as part of a team that, by creating a newplatform for organoids on a chip combined with a microfluidicsystem, will develop and implement cutting-edge cellular, genomicand molecular techniques with a multimodality analytic approach,plus produce data that will inform machine learning models toimprove cancer patient risk stratification as well as to predictfuture targeted and/or immuno-therapy susceptibilities.In this roleyou will Set up organoid-on-a-chip platforms, combining differentcell types (immune cells/ fibroblasts/tumor cells/endothelialcells)Develop a microfluidic system for modelling immune cellaction and drug penetration into 3D organoids modelsDevelopprotocols for imaging and single-cell analysisCollect and reportdata to the lab headExecute and deliver the project Why you?
