Interim Technology & Data Lawyer up to £150k

A leading international bank is looking to hire an Interim Technology and Data Lawyer for a 12 month basis.

The role is based in Glasgow and the bank has a hybrid working arrangement. This role forms part of the EMEA Technology and Data legal practice group. It is an excellent opportunity to join a market leader in the banking and finance space.

Requirements:

• England and Wales qualified Solicitor or commonwealth lawyer.
• 4 PQE and up
• Experience gained at well-regarded law firm, large financial institution or technology company.
• Experience in technology legal advisory, data, intellectual property, and/or commercial contracts is an advantageous.

Role responsibilities:

• Advise on a variety of technology laws and requirements, such as sourcing/outsourcing/offshoring, artificial intelligence, cloud, intellectual property, operational resiliency and other emerging technologies.
• Review, draft and negotiate a variety of technology agreements such as technology outsourcing, hardware and software purchases, SaaS and other cloud transactions, maintenance and support arrangements, and design and construction agreements.
• Working closely with compliance, risk and business partners.
• Advise on brand infringement matters, handle IP queries coordinate domain name registrations.
