IT / Computer Science Teacher / Instructor – Up to £29,000.00 per annum, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only, November 2025 start!

Avonside School, Bristol BS4 5PS 

Our New Acorn Education School - Avonside School in Bristol, will have capacity for 72 pupils and is due to open August 2025. The school will be a co-educational provision for pupils with complex needs including SEMH.

Key Responsibilities 

  • To teach IT across the KS3 and 4 provision linked to the national curriculum to students aged between; 11-19.
  • To be a form tutor for students to support them in their education.
  • To help develop core IT skills that enable pupils function in the wider world.
  • Play a key role in the development of SEN provision within Avonside.
  • Work with the school’s therapy team and build strong curriculum based on the needs of the students.
  • Enable access to learning and social opportunities for pupils with SEN through the delivery of teaching, support, families and the young person.
