What will you be doing?
We are looking for a passionate, driven, and energetic HRIS Manager to join the organisation on a 12-month fixed-term basis and help drive automation and improved functionality for our current HCM tool (Workday).
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and will thrive in a fast-paced environment, they will also be process-oriented and have a keen eye for detail and passion for HR systems (Workday), process efficiency, and all things HR technology.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of the HR systems within the business and work in a continually evolving function. You will get exposure to all areas of HR systems including Workday and our LMS and Intranet (Fuse Universal). You’ll beworking with senior leadership to optimize their current HR technology as well as working on potential new projects. The beauty of working with a business investing in new technology is that you will have a real opportunity to add value to the business through working on process mapping, system optimization, system integration, improved functionality, enhanced user experience, and automated/bespoke reporting.
Hands-on Workday experience is essential
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the HR team using technology to deliver their priorities, projects, and annual processes Contribute as a key advisor and influence various HR projects and initiatives bringing HRIS expertise Build trusted relationships across the HR team and other key stakeholders (., Finance Senior Management), understanding their needs and advice on how to leverage HRIS to gain efficiencies and reach a seamless HRIS experience Analysing, designing, developing, testing, and supporting Workday functionality and configuration (such as HCM, Absence, Performance, Advanced Compensation, and US Payroll) Drive HRIS aspects of key annual processes such as, but not limited to, Performance Evaluation Compensation Reviews, and US Open Enrolment Recommending HR process improvement and systems development to support the drive for automation and process improvements across all HR Systems. Responsible for data integrity within Workday, including quality, accuracy, reporting, timeliness, and usability (including core systems and related interfaces). Design Workday reports focused on utility, visual presentation, and ease of interpretation for the end user. Monitor support queries being raised, resolve them where possible, or liaise with our AMS Partner Provide support on ad-hoc projects as required Participate in the bi-annual Workday release cycle including (but not limited to) the following activities:Research and assess changes to existing functionality and any new functionality relating to the functional area of supportPrepare documents to be presented for additional functionality and impactsAssist with regression testing relating to the functional areas of supportUpdate functional process guides, training materials, and user guides for end users Manager of one Workday Analyst Manage vendor relationships including the relationship with Workday, our AMS partner, and other HR Systems Create training guides and toolsSkills & Experience
Essential
Proven experience minimum 6 years with Workday systems support Configuration experience in the following Workday modules, HCM, Performance & Development, Absence, US Payroll, US Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Security groups, Business Processes, Report Writer, and performing bulk data loads (EIBs) Good knowledge of Workday integrations Experience in managing a team Experience in analysing and cleansing large quantities of data to produce workable business solutions Ability to identify process efficiencies ., data flow across HR systems Strong analytical skills Experience in the continuous improvement of HR processes for a global organization Knowledge of HR best practices across HR employee lifecycle processes Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships Clear communicator, particularly when explaining complex technical principles to non-technical audiences Ability to learn technology through instruction and self-training Demonstrates high attention to detail with an innate need to investigate complex issues and thoroughly test solutions Experience in UAT and regression system testing Ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple deliverables, some larger with longer timelines and others requiring immediate attention and completion Critical thinker with strong time-management, organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills to meet deadlines is also a must Educated to degree level (or equivalent) Self-motivated, confident, and result-driven individualDesirable
