The Impact You’ll Make inthis Role As Legal Counsel – Labor and Employment, EMEA, you willhave the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaboratewith some of the most innovative and diverse people around theworld. Here, you will make an impact by: - Managing labor andemployment matters in EMEA in partnership with sophisticatedbusiness and HR leaders. - Providing strategic advice and supporton a range of topics relating to employment-related agreements,consultation processes, compensation and benefits, performance anddisciplinary matters, and internal investigations. - Leadingcomplex, cross-functional, and multi-jurisdictional projectssupporting Solventum’s business and HR priorities. - Overseeingemployment-related disputes and litigation in partnership withexternal counsel. - Developing and leading training on labor andemployment law topics. - Strategically managing outside counsel onprojects of significant impact and/or complexity. - Monitoring andproactively managing legal issues and developments, through directinvolvement or management of law firms. - Collaborating withinternal teams to ensure a sustainable structure to support thebusiness needs. - Developing and sharing knowledge and bestpractices with colleagues in support of a collaborative, flexible,and energizing team environment. Your Skills and ExpertiseQualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for thisrole can be found in the full description below. To set you up forsuccess in this role from day one, 3M Health Care requires (at aminimum) the following qualifications: - Law degree from anaccredited institution - Qualified to practice law in at least oneEMEA jurisdiction (UK, France, or Germany preferred) - Experienceadvising on employment matters in a strategic manner Additionalqualifications that could help you succeed even further in thisrole include: - Master’s degree in law from an accreditedinstitution - Experience working in a sophisticated corporate legaldepartment for a company operating in multiple countries -Proficient in English, other languages are welcome Work location: -Remote Travel: May include up to 10% domestic or internationalRelocation Assistance: Not available.
