Head of Software Engineering - AI Start Up - Series BOur client is a series B AI start up. We are seeking an experiencedand visionary Head of Software Engineering to lead our engineeringteam. This role is crucial in shaping and executing our softwaredevelopment strategy, ensuring the delivery of innovative andreliable solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strongtechnical background and proven leadership skills. KeyResponsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement acomprehensive software development strategy aligned with thecompanys mission and objectives. 2. Team Management: Lead, mentor,and expand a high-performing team of software engineers, fosteringa culture of innovation and continuous improvement. 3.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, includingdata science, product, and marketing, to integrate softwaresolutions that enhance outcomes and user experiences. 4. ProjectOversight: Oversee the end-to-end execution of software developmentprojects, from ideation to deployment, ensuring they meet qualitystandards and timelines. Qualifications: 1. Bachelors or Mastersdegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relatedfield. 2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineeringroles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. 3. Proventrack record of successfully leading software engineering teams andprojects in tech start ups. 4. Proficiency in programming languagessuch as Python, Java, or C++, and experience with modern softwaredevelopment frameworks and tools. 5. Strong understanding ofsoftware architecture, cloud computing, and scalable system design.6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to conveycomplex technical concepts to both technical and non-technicalstakeholders. 7. Demonstrated ability to think strategically andexecute methodically in a fast-paced environment.
