About the role:

The Head of Sales to Cash at EG On The Move will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of the end-to-end revenue reconciliation, cash and bank functions, credit control as well as managing master data. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is responsible for overseeing customer invoicing, collections, credit risk management, cash application, and bank interactions. The successful candidate will drive efficiencies, improve processes, and support the companys strategic objectives by ensuring strong cash flow management, data accuracy, and seamless customer transactions.

What youll do:

  • Lead and manage the revenue reconciliation, credit control and cash and bank teams, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and continuous development.
  • Oversee the master data management team to ensure data integrity and accuracy across all financial systems.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including cash receipts and bank transactions.
  • Maintain accurate customer accounts with clear reconciliation of outstanding balances while overseeing daily bank interactions.
  • Monitor and enhance transactional processes by identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture by encouraging collaboration, innovation, and professional growth while providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of financial master data by maintaining systems and implementing policies for consistency and reliability
  • Collaborate with other departments including and finance teams to ensure seamless financial processes, enhance data management, and efficiently resolve transactional escalations.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard assets, ensure compliance, and support audit processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of responsibility, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead projects related to process optimisation, system upgrades and the implementation of new financial tools.
  • Provide regular reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transactional processing and cash management, utilising Power BI (with the support of the BI team) to do this.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of transactional data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, presenting insights and recommendations to the Finance Director and other stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Highly organised with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
