Job Title:Head of London & International Underwriting Management, Cyber Risks

Head of Global Underwriting Management; Head of Cyber Underwriting Strategy; Cyber Risks Leadership, International Brokers, Underwriters, Claims, and Cyber Services
Job Summary:Underwriting Manager with responsibility for all aspects of London and International Underwriting Management unit within Cyber Risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Global Underwriting Management and Head of Cyber Underwriting Strategy in Cyber Risks, and lead the execution of Underwriting Management across London and International Cyber Risks.
- Responsible for the strategic delivery of Underwriting Management services for London and International Cyber Risks, including rating, underwriting guidelines, underwriter training, management information development, analysis and reporting and product development.
- Work with the Cyber Data Science and Analytics team and Cyber Services to integrate internal and external threat intelligence and risk assessment tools into daily underwriting of the London and International Cyber Risks account.
- Support drafting of the Cyber Risks business plan.
- Monitor the portfolio and suggest corrective measures
- Manage and oversee the underwriting activities of International Cyber & Tech to comply with relevant company, regulatory and legal requirements.
- Maintain a good working relationship with Claims and Cyber Services to inform underwriting actions.
- Ensure that all employees have the knowledge and the skills necessary to perform effectively in their given roles and responsibilities.
General
- Leverage networking opportunities within the business to develop standardised underwriting policy and best practice within Beazley.
- Develop best practice and disseminate business and class knowledge within Cyber Risks.
- Work with peers within Cyber Risks to maximise business opportunities and profitability within the department. This will include but not be limited to sharing market information, marketing sources and cross selling opportunities.
- Share and gather knowledge within the Beazley Group to ensure dissemination of best practice and maximise business opportunities and profitability within the Group.
- Production of presentations and marketing literature as required.

This may include, amongst others, Beazley’s underwriting control standards, Beazley’s claims control standards, other Beazley standards and customer relationship management.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as individually notified, either through your objectives or through the learning management system. These may include membership of any Beazley committees or working groups.

- Computer skills – good working knowledge of MS Office, advanced Excel skills

- Extensive experience of Cyber & Technology underwriting
- Thorough knowledge of underwriting policy, philosophy and practice
- Advanced knowledge of underwriting processes and systems
- Client service experience
