Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a visionary and highly technical Head of Data Science to lead and inspire our global data science team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of data science at Choreograph, developing cutting-edge solutions, and fostering a culture of technical excellence across the organization.

What youll do:

  • Global Data Science Vision & Strategy: Define and champion the global data science vision, setting the strategic direction for data science initiatives, research & development, and talent development across all markets.
  • Methodology Development & Standardization: Develop and implement standardized approaches to data science methodologies, model development, deployment, and monitoring, ensuring consistency and rigor in our analytical deliverables.
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of data science advancements, exploring and experimenting with emerging technologies and methodologies to identify new opportunities for Choreograph and its clients.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Partner closely with regional data science leads, analytical consulting teams, product teams, and technology teams to ensure alignment between global standards and local execution.
  • Talent Development & Mentorship: Foster a culture of technical excellence within Choreograph, providing mentorship and development opportunities for data science professionals across the organization.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of regional data science leaders, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practice development across markets.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience leading and managing high-performing data science teams in a global organization, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, and AI techniques, with experience in developing and deploying solutions at scale.
  • Strong understanding of big data technologies, cloud computing platforms, and data engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for data science and its transformative potential, combined with a strong desire to lead and inspire a global team of data scientists.
