My client is looking for a Head of Data / MI to be responsible for developing and executing the vision for GISO's data reporting, management information systems, and automation initiatives.


This is a brand new role for the organisation and the successful candidate will be responsible for building the function from the ground, creating a new Data Lake and automating their reporting.


This position is pivotal in ensuring that the leadership leverages data-driven insights to enhance decision-making, streamline operations, and achieve strategic goals. The Head of MI, Reporting, and Automation will work closely with senior leadership to deliver impactful solutions that align with the organisations strategy and objectives.


The successful candidate will need to have previously worked in a large complex organisations where there are multiple business units, ideally within FS or regulated environments.


You will need to have;

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, data science, business analytics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in a large, international and complex organisation.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in MI, reporting, data analysis, or automation roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Deep understanding of data management, reporting frameworks, and automation technologies.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (eg, Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and relevant programming languages (eg, Python, R).
  • Extensive experience with RPA tools (eg, UiPath, Automation Anywhere) and process automation methodologies.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Collaborative and able to build strong relationships across the organization.
  • Desirable:
  • A Master's degree or professional certifications (eg, PMP, Six Sigma, Certified Business Intelligence Professional, RPA certifications) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Sound analytical skills to extract insights from information.


Please note this role has been deemed inside IR35 and you will need to work through an umbrella company if successful
