We are recruiting for a Head of Data to join a small, successful IT consultancy who are experiencing exponential growth.

They specialise in providing the latest data and cloud technologies for a multitude of clients across the UK and Ireland, with plans to expand further including the US. You will be joining a company which is on an exciting journey, building their own data analytics platform for their clients.

Part of the role requires the ability to drive the end-to-end design, own implementation and get a SaaS product to market.

This opportunity will suit an established ‘Head of’ or Data professional looking to move into a more strategic role to help build out their Products and Solutions.

This role will be a member of the executive team, responsible for designing and implementing intelligent data solutions to meet business objectives and company strategy. You will work with a variety of stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet them. You will be responsible for developing their data strategy and supporting capabilities, including building out a high caliber team.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in a data leadership role
• Experience in both Data Analytics AND Engineering
• Ability to create and deploy innovative and scalable data solutions for clients
• Strong technical expertise in data warehousing, statistical modelling, data mining, machine learning, and visualisation
• Proficiency in data analytics languages such as SQL, Python, and R or similar
• Experience with intelligent data stacks like AWS, MS Azure, GCP, Azure Databricks, and Apache Kafka.
• Ability to work independently and manage multi-disciplinary remote teams

This is remote first role with travel to client site and their Birmingham office roughly 1 day per month.
