The role

As a software engineer at TTP, you will work in-house on our campus to work on software development – from concept generation and algorithm design to implementation in embedded and cloud-based resources. For example, you could be developing neural networks forhuman-multi-robot collaborative teamsor creating anapp that helps people with specific health problems like borderline personality disorder.

You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects at any one time, so over a year at TTP your experiences and applications will be vast, and you can expect to develop and expand your understanding of entirely new fields of science and technology rapidly.

You will be sat within a team of experienced Software engineers to whom you can turn to in times of doubt or curiosity. We believe in empowering you to grow in your own way, offering mentorship and guidance when you need it, whilst giving you the freedom to develop your skills and career path on your terms. You will be given the autonomy to choose what to spend your time on, find solutions and balance your own responsibilities.

Requirements

When considering applications, we are looking for individuals with the following traits:

  • Working towards a 2:1 in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. You will be bright, with a strong academic record demonstrating a good grasp of the first principles of your subject.
  • Coding experience in at least one of Python, C, or C++. You should have experience of writing substantial pieces of software, and you should be able to read and understand code written by others.
  • Communication Skills. Being able to communicate your understanding and explain your ideas is an important aspect of consultancy.
  • Motivated by technology and wanting to make a difference though its advancement.

This role is intended to start in September 2025; all our graduates start together to foster a community of like-minded peers (there is some flexibility on start dates if needed).

Note: we recruit on a rolling basis, reviewing applications as they are submitted. There is no set deadline, but once all positions are filled, the advert will close. We recommend applying early for the best chance, as most places are typically filled by Christmas.
