Job Description We are looking for an ambitious School/College Leaver (AAT Apprentice) to join our Finance team, who has a drive and willingness to learn. You have A Levels or Equivalent, and ready to be part of timely and accurate management accounting and reporting. Furthermore, you have a natural interest in accountancy and finance. The challenge we offer You will be responsible for a range of accountancy duties to kickstart your finance career, from invoicing and expense allocation, and making sure the entries are always correct, up to date and complies with national and international accounting standards. Other responsibilities includes trade receivables management and other ad-hoc tasks. You are going to work closely with our local UK Finance Manager and business. Key activities of the job as Financial Controller are: Approving staff expenses in line with policy and HMRC rules Posting and sending client invoices and purchase invoices Bank postings and reconciliations Management of trade receivables and resolving issues with the business Crown Commercial Services reconciliation Credit Card reconciliation Your own responsibilities allow you to develop a view of the business and the way Netcompanys financial model operates. The position enables you to get an understanding of the financial controls and KPIs that drives a business like Netcompany. In addition to this you are going to be part of our finance team, where you are able to develop yourself and gain valuable work experience within a multinational finance team. Qualifications The skills you bring: Hold A Levels or Equivalent, ideally in a Business, Mathematics, or Economics discipline, or something similar Have a flair and natural interest in finance, corporate control environments and accounting A user of Excel Ability to work well towards deadline A team player willing to assist and support other staff members as and when required A loyal individual who is looking to progress within the firm and become a long standing team member Able to communicate excellently in English, both verbally and in writing As a person you are energetic and committed. You possess the ability to communicate well and are extroverted. It is your drive to be impactful and to understand the business. You have a great analytical mindset, interested in accounting, and understand the importance of being proactive. Furthermore, you are detail-orientated, focused on quality, and thrives of delivering on time when given an assignment. Additional information Training AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting Level 3. The Advanced Diploma in Accounting covers a range of complex accounting tasks, including maintaining cost accounting records and the preparation of reports and returns. Youll learn and master a number of accounting disciplines including financial processes, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and ethical practices for accountants. Top skills youll gain: The importance of professional ethics in the working environment. Use of spreadsheets to manage information in the accounting environment. Analysing variances.
