With plans to expand the business further this has presented an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer covering the South West to join their team.The role of Senior Field Service Engineer: To be a custodian of the brand at all times and demonstrate company values. Maintaining a high standard of service and repair on all cleaning equipment ensuring the delivery of a world class service experienceRegularly communicating with Regional Service Manager Maintaining, accurately diagnosing and repairing the full range of Industrial Cleaning Equipment including MunicipalCompleting documentation of work orders promptly on Oneview FS365, ensuring accurate records are createdControlling van stocks in accordance with customer base - ensuring 5% difference adhered to during all stock takesEffectively communicating daily with regional scheduler to assist operationsIdentifying and communicating sales leads to relevant sales personPromoting healthy relationships with customers and the One Professional TeamMaintaining tools and equipment to a satisfactory and safe conditionParticipating in on-job coaching with Regional Manager ensuring personal development plan is relevantElevated duties in absence of Regional Manager if requiredWhere required attending reactive weekend on-call work orders (few and far between)Your qualifications, experience and characteristics are3 GCSEs at Grade 4, or equivalent, including English and MathsFormal mechanical/electrical qualificationsProven experience in the service and/or cleaning industry or willing to fast track through training.Fantastic communication skills, with the ability to work well in a teamExcellent organisational skills.Able to improvise and be conversant with customers.Experience with electronics, batteries, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and diesel engines.Experience with : Municipal Cleaning Equipment /  Forklift trucks / HGV / Plant Hire / Horticultural / Agricultural Machinery/ Industrial Cleaning EquipmentFull UK driving licence essentialWillingness to travel and stay overnight if requiredSome training will take place in Europe so ideally a passport is required.Keywords: Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, Field Service Technician, Senior Engineer, Engineer, FLT, Cleaning Equipment, Road Sweepers, Regional Service Technician Bowdon Associates is a member of the Guild of Quality Employment Agencies and has agreed to adopt the compliance and recruitment standards that form the basis their code of conduct.
