Senior Energy consultant/modeller.


Location: Fully remote/hybrid, offices available if you like to go into an office.


My client is leading the way in the energy/sustainability consulting, focusing on delivering decarbonisation. Helping organisations who are committed to decarbonisation achieve meaningful and quantifiable carbon reductions quickly and efficiently.


My client works collaboratively across energy, transport, carbon accounting and data science to provide innovative solutions to clients and is seeking an energy consultant to work directly with senior leadership, energy R&D team. The successful candidate will grow my clients energy offering, maximizing the value of cutting-edge research, delivering this to clients through a trusted, consultative approach, and help build relationships across the industry.


Overall, you’ll be committed to the success of the project and to the growth of the business, and you’ll be a great team player.


Responsibilities will include:


- Working on projects with the project director and senior leadership.

- Delivering decarbonation strategies.

Energy efficiency and heat modelling.

-EV charging strategies and net zero pathways.

- Preparing and quality-assuring insightful and impactful client reports.

- Conducting and overseeing high-quality energy and sustainability analyses.

- Sharing best-practice and specialist knowledge with the wider-team.

- Developing renewable generation business cases, research and expert advice.

- Responsible for producing high-quality technical reports and presentations.

- Completing and documenting thermal, energy and dynamic modelling.



Requirements:


  • Degree, Masters or PhD in Physics, Maths, Engineering or at least 1 year in a similar role/appropriate industry.
  • Passionate about sustainability and decarbonisation.
  • Excellent communication skills to contribute to stakeholder engagement


Desirable:


  • Data analysis skills – Python, GIS.
  • Project managing experience, small/medium scale.
