About the Role

We’re seeking Energy Consultants to expand our team, addressing growing demand for BRE’s expertise. These roles are key to delivering high-value energy projects, supporting UK and devolved government clients, and influencing sustainable practices internationally. You’ll work at the forefront of energy consulting, applying cutting-edge techniques to help achieve net-zero targets.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and apply energy modelling techniques (e.g., SAP, SBEM, HEM) to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Provide strategic advice to stakeholders and clients, including government bodies and cross-functional teams.
  • Analyse energy consumption data using tools and programming languages such as Python, C++, or Rust.
  • Support bids, project management, and the integration of advanced energy systems and technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as BREEAM and Housing, to enhance sustainability initiatives.


What We’re Looking For

  • A strong foundation in Building Physics, Energy Systems, Geography, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in energy modelling, software development, and project delivery.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and programming languages, with the ability to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills, with a drive to make a difference.
