  The Opportunity:
  
  After a number of exciting tender wins my client is on the lookout for a Test Engineer with experience of embedded software.
  
  You’ll be working with a team developing cutting edge image processing products and be responsible for system, regression, performance, stress and security testing.
  
  You will develop and improve test strategies with the support of the development engineers, ensuring company solutions meet or exceed expectations.
  
  Skills and Experience:
  
  
• 3+ years’ experience in testing embedded software
  
  
• Familiarity with Jira and X-ray for test and defect management.
  
  
• Proficiency in Linux OS and Bash scripting.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with scripting or high-level languages
  
  
• Able to read and understand C++ code
  
  
• With a background in ANPR, CCTV, Traffic/Speed Enforcement, computer vision or video encoders would be highly beneficial
