We’re hiring a deeply technical, hands-on Director of Agentic AI to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced multi-agent systems that go far beyond prototypes and into robust, real-world production for large-scale enterprise and government.

This role requires an extremly high-performing, ambitious individual, comfortable with high levels of ambiguity, a ferocious pace and rising client demand for Agentic AI solutions.

This individual will shape technical direction, define engineering standards, and remain actively involved in building next-generation AI systems.

You’ll work with world-class technical AI engineering teams to deliver solutions that drive meaningful impact across complex organisations and industries.

What You’ll Lead & Deliver

  • Architect end-to-end multi-agent systems from scratch using frameworks such as ReAct, CoT loops, LangGraph, and MCP.
  • Build and productionise agentic AI solutions with strong evaluation, observability, and orchestration.
  • Scale deployments across diverse environments (SQL-based workflows, pandas, RAG pipelines, distributed compute).
  • Define evaluation standards: Pass@N, multi-run testing, retriever benchmarking, component diagnostics, and quality gates.
  • Lead client-facing engagements, delivering workshops, assessments, and adoption roadmaps.
  • Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, ensuring delivery quality and driving adoption of new methods and tooling.
  • Stay ahead of frontier innovation, experimenting with the latest LLM, orchestration, and agent-design research.

What You Bring

Required

  • Advanced degree in AI, Computer Science, or similar (MSc/PhD).
  • Several years of experience delivering agentic AI, ML, or AI engineering systems in production.
  • Strong track record of leading complex technical delivery while remaining hands-on.
  • Solid software engineering foundations: deployment, observability, monitoring, memory orchestration, optimisation.
  • Familiarity with agentic architectures (ReAct, CoT loops, LangGraph, tool orchestration).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to run workshops and shape technical direction.

Preferred

  • Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, vector DBs, RAG, and distributed inference.
  • Background in dynamic, high-performance environments (start-ups or technical consultancies).
  • Exposure to regulated industries or complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Proactive mindset, comfortable driving work independently.

This is a rare opportunity to steer and shape a cutting-edge Agentic AI capability—designing and deploying systems that influence large-scale, real-world operations across multiple sectors.

You’ll join an ambitious, research-informed environment that encourages experimentation, technical excellence, and forward-thinking problem-solving.

Neurodiversity in AI Careers: Turning Different Thinking into a Superpower

The AI industry moves quickly, breaks rules & rewards people who see the world differently. That makes it a natural home for many neurodivergent people – including those with ADHD, autism & dyslexia. If you’re neurodivergent & considering a career in artificial intelligence, you might have been told your brain is “too much”, “too scattered” or “too different” for a technical field. In reality, many of the strengths that come with ADHD, autism & dyslexia map beautifully onto AI work – from spotting patterns in data to creative problem-solving & deep focus. This guide is written for AI job seekers in the UK. We’ll explore: What neurodiversity means in an AI context How ADHD, autism & dyslexia strengths match specific AI roles Practical workplace adjustments you can ask for under UK law How to talk about your neurodivergence during applications & interviews By the end, you’ll have a clearer picture of where you might thrive in AI – & how to set yourself up for success.

How to Write an AI CV that Beats ATS (UK examples)

Writing an AI CV for the UK market is about clarity, credibility, and alignment. Recruiters spend seconds scanning the top third of your CV, while Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) check for relevant skills & recent impact. Your goal is to make both happy without gimmicks: plain structure, sharp evidence, and links that prove you can ship to production. This guide shows you exactly how to do that. You’ll get a clean CV anatomy, a phrase bank for measurable bullets, GitHub & portfolio tips, and three copy-ready UK examples (junior, mid, research). Paste the structure, replace the details, and tailor to each job ad.
