YOUR ROLE
As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced senior leader who can bring experience from across the nuclear lifecycle, a strong business improvement skillset, and an understanding of how the digitisation of core capital project delivery and operational processes can reduce the total cost of ownership and deliver on shareholder commitments. You will work in a diverse team of engineers, creative designers, business consultants, industry experts, information, and technology specialists to help lead and grow a market leading business.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Set the strategic direction as part of the ET&U Leadership team.
- Business Management of large multi-disciplinary teams.
- Work across an international team to drive growth of the nuclear sector.
- Coach, develop, and performance manage team members.
As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
- Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
- Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
- Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
YOUR PROFILE
- Proven track record in the Nuclear Industry with capital projects and/or asset intensive industry experience.
- Experience of demonstrating TOTEX improvements across the lifecycle of assets.
- Experience of delivering business and technology transformation initiatives.
- Experience working in a consultancy or deploying internal improvement initiatives within an organisation.
- Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background. Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
- Experience of proposition building and delivery.
- Business development– utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be generatingc.3m of consulting revenues (Senior Director).
