By leveraging user-centred methodologies, data analysis, and emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Automation, you will help customers enhance their digital experiences, streamline operations, and create seamless, connected journeys for their users.You will work closely with customers to understand their digital strategy and objectives, developing tailored strategies that drive meaningful results while embedding best practices in digital transformation across their projects.Job Specification:Work with customers to evaluate their digital set-up, processes, and strategic goals, identifying areas needing improvement or transformation.Translate user research and discovery into functional specifications and blueprints for design and development teams to implement.Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and end users to identify key requirements and areas of focus for your projects.Design a digital roadmap to allow customers achieve their strategy, based on data and insights gathered.Integrate emerging technologies like AI and Intelligent Automation into strategies to enhance user experiences and improve service efficiency.Support their customers to make informed choices by recommending digital tools or ways to optimise existing platforms.Collaborate with user researchers, content designers, and developers to ensure that project outputs align with the roadmap and user needs.Collaborate with teams to integrate AI insights and automation into service design blueprints, aligning with client goals and ensuring GDS and WCAG compliance.Analyse user journeys and map current-state processes to identify bottlenecks, then design optimal-state blueprints to streamline services.Advise customers on best practices for content and accessibility, aligning with broader transformation goals.Define and track KPIs to measure digital transformation success, offering insights and recommendations based on these metrics.Manage stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, build consensus, and ensure successful project delivery.Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions.Provide training and knowledge transfer to empower customers to independently manage and sustain the digital transformation efforts.Provide regular project progress updates and reports addressing risks, dependencies, and milestones in line with governance processes.Support tender submissions.Minimum Required Experience (including personal qualities):Experience in UK public sector and frameworks like GDS, WCAG, and the Local Digital Declaration (Preferable).Passionate about driving meaningful and sustainable, user-driven change.Practical knowledge of applying accessibility and GDS standards in digital projects (Preferable).Skilled in managing stakeholders and facilitating workshops to gather requirements and build consensus.Excellent attention to detail.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to drive insights, inform strategies, and measure success.Experience with service design methodologies, including journey mapping, blueprinting, and process improvement.Interest in emerging technologies like AI and Intelligent Automation, exploring their use in public sector digital transformation.Able to collaborate cross functional teams.Strategic thinker who translates complex challenges into actionable and aligned plans.Experience in delivering projects on time and within budget, focusing on impact and continuous improvement.Good Knowledge of Microsoft or Google Suite.Experience using analytics platforms such as GA4 or similar.Qualification or equivalent work experience/training in BA or Service Design
