Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity in Dermatology to become part of the waiting list co-ordinator / medical secretary team to be based at the Friends Dermatology Centre and the Kent and Canterbury hospital.

This is a medical secretary post as work with some clinicians completing clinics, typing and PTL work the Dermatology team in achieving national and local targets.

The Friends Dermatology Centre is located at the Kent and Canterbury hospital within the 1937 building. The department has access to their own procedure rooms and a wide range of clinicians undertaking surgical lists. This is an exciting opportunity to join a flexible, dynamic and close working team.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will be part of the Dermatology Team and will be responsible for the day to day medical secretary administration. The administrative role within the patients' pathway from the decision to treat electively, to the date of admission and complete clinics typing within the trust targets. Support with other administrative roles. Patient pathway validation, booking of appointments, chasing results & PTL management
