We are seeking a highly experienced Data Strategist to join our team. This role demands a deep understanding of various aspects of data strategy combined with the ability to lead transformative projects that align data management practices with broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Strategy Expertise: Develop and implement data strategies encompassing Data Engineering Data Operating Models Data Management and Data Governance.
  • Technical Development Background: Utilise a solid foundation in technical development within the data domain including data engineering data architecture and data platforms.
  • AI and Machine Learning Integration: Link AI and machine learning use cases with the foundational requirements of a Central Data Platform.
  • Modern Data Architecture: Apply indepth knowledge of modern data architecture paradigms including data lakes data warehouses data mesh and cloudnative solutions.
  • Client and CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with clients and crossfunctional teams to assess data maturity and identify strategic opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Workshops: Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define future data use cases assess existing architectures and validate currentstate assessments.
  • Case for Change: Develop compelling cases for change including creating light business cases or ROI justifications.
  • Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Lead or support the delivery of PoCs and implementation projects with a team of engineers.
  • Communication: Bridge technical and nontechnical audiences ensuring alignment between business and technical objectives.
  • Generalist Approach: Work across multiple domains within data ensuring holistic and pragmatic solutions.
  • Compliance Considerations: Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR) and compliance considerations as they relate to data management and strategy.


Qualifications :

  • Extensive experience in data strategy data engineering and data management.
  • Strong technical background in data architecture and platforms.
  • Proven track record in aligning AI and machine learning initiatives with data platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with clients and internal teams to drive strategic data initiatives.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
