🔍 In this role, you’ll:
📈 Develop and support analytical and statistical models using Python
🛠 Work with real-world energy and environmental datasets, including data cleaning, validation, and feature engineering
☁️ Use AWS services to support data storage, processing, and analytics workflows
🗄 Query and manipulate structured datasets using SQL
📊 Build reports, dashboards, and visualisations that translate data into clear, actionable insights
🌍 Contribute to carbon, environmental, or sustainability reporting (training provided if new to this area)

✅ What we’re looking for:
🎓 A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
💼 0–2 years of experience in data analysis or data science (graduate roles, internships, placements, or academic projects welcome)
🐍 Strong Python experience for data analysis and modelling (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn or similar)
🗄 Solid experience working with SQL and structured datasets
☁️ Hands-on experience using AWS (e.g. S3, RDS, Athena, Glue, or similar)
🧮 A good understanding of statistics, data wrangling, and analytical thinking
🌍 A strong interest in the energy and sustainability sector
