Job Description

• Data Pipeline Development:Design and implement scalable data pipelines for processing large datasets.
• ETL Process Management:Develop, deploy, and maintain ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Cloud Infrastructure:Work with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, to manage data storage, processing, and deployment.
• Database Management:Optimize databases for performance and scalability, ensuring data consistency across all systems.
• Collaboration:Work closely with data scientists, UX teams, and stakeholders to develop end-to-end data solutions.
• Documentation:Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for data engineering processes, ensuring transparency and reproducibility.
• New Methodologies:Research and implement new data engineering methodologies and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Google Cloud, and tools like Databricks.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database management.
• Familiarity with Big Data tools and probabilistic programming libraries is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
